All Ages Records on Pratt Street in Camden is London’s only dedicated punk rock and hardcore shop, and is a legendary institution in the scene. Founded by Nick Collins in 2003, the shop is covered wall-to-wall in band posters and vivid memorabilia that’s unmistakably punk, with shelves crammed with vinyl, CDs and merchandise from classic Clash and Ramones LPs to rare hardcore and psychobilly.

As you step into All Ages, you’ll likely be welcomed by Bob and Yellow, the shop’s two resident dogs who greet their punk customers just as eagerly as the rest of the staff, happily wandering around the record racks. Nick and his small team are famous in the underground for their warmth, with some of the most friendly and knowledgeable interactions you’ll see in a record store. The walls and counters are plastered with gig flyers for punk, hardcore, Oi! and ska shows, and rather than simply leaving with a new album, you’ll more than likely step out of All Ages Records with a list of new bands, upcoming shows, and recommended promoters to check out.

A must-visit spot for anyone into punk and hardcore, All Ages Records’ extensive collection, friendly dogs, knowledgeable staff and authentic DIY vibe have placed the shop at the beating heart of London’s punk community. Having not only stocked Sherwood since the beginning, but actively advised us on how to improve it at every step, we had to pay Nick and All Ages their dues and help them spread the word.
